Metro Manila Turf Club Inc.
Metro Manila Turf Club Inc. (MMTCI), known as MetroTurf, is a Philippine corporation operating a racetrack for horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering at the boundary of Malvar and Tanauan City, Batangas, under its legislative franchise pursuant to Republic Act No. 11505.
Through its racing operations, MetroTurf supports the Philippine horse racing industry and provides opportunities for jockeys, trainers, horse owners, and the people who work behind every race day.
Our History
Welcoming racing fans since 2013.
MetroTurf opened to the public in February 2013 with its first major week-long races. Its development brought a new racing destination to Batangas, with Mt. Makiling providing a distinctive backdrop.
Singaporean racetrack consultant and builder K.K. Kumar supervised the construction of the complex, including its 1,525-meter racetrack.
The Racecourse
Built around the racing experience.
The complex brings together a public grandstand, VIP viewing areas, facilities for racing personnel, and equipment supporting race-day operations. Track lighting allows racing after sunset, while viewing screens help spectators follow the action.
Horses train in the quiet Batangas surroundings before the venue comes alive with racing participants and spectators on race days.
